1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at synthnarrative.pro (the "Site") operated by Synth Narrative Studio Inc. ("Synth Narrative," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to website use only. Professional services are governed by separate written agreements that prevail over these Terms where they conflict.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for business and professional users. You represent that you are at least eighteen years of age and have authority to bind any organization on whose behalf you use the Site or submit enquiries.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms, including learning about our services, reviewing portfolio summaries, and submitting genuine business enquiries through the contact form. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any manner that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local law;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or networks;
• Introduce malware, automated scraping at scale, denial-of-service traffic, or other harmful code;
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent contact form information;
• Complete hidden honeypot fields or otherwise interfere with anti-abuse mechanisms;
• Reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission except as allowed by limited fair dealing under Canadian copyright law;
• Misrepresent affiliation with Synth Narrative or imply endorsement without authorization.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, page design, photographs, and software — is owned by Synth Narrative Studio Inc. or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Synth Narrative name, visual identity, and "Living Specimen" design elements are proprietary. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and download Site pages for personal or internal business reference only.

Third-party trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use our marks without written consent.

5. No professional relationship from browsing

Viewing the Site or submitting a contact form does not create a client relationship, duty of care, or obligation to provide services. We reserve the right to decline enquiries at our discretion. No statement on the Site constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.

6. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law.

Synth Narrative Studio Inc. is a professional applied-AI content studio. We are not a course, training programme, certification provider, franchise, or income opportunity. We do not guarantee search engine rankings, organic traffic, lead volume, revenue, cost savings, model accuracy, uptime, or error-free operation of any AI system described on the Site. Portfolio metrics are illustrative of past work and not promises of future results.

Large language models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased output. Information on the Site may become outdated; we may update content without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synth Narrative Studio Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for claims arising solely from Site use (excluding professional services covered by separate contracts) shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synth Narrative Studio Inc. from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or infringement of third-party rights resulting from content you submit to us.

9. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or tools. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability. Links do not imply endorsement.

10. Privacy and communications

Personal information collected through the Site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting the contact form, you consent to processing as described there, including storage of your message for response purposes. Electronic communications from you do not guarantee immediate receipt during holidays or outside business hours Eastern Time.

11. Modifications

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you disagree with revised Terms, discontinue use of the Site.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or poses security or legal risk. Provisions that by nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario for disputes arising from Site use, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
